Touchdown Helicopters is a small and friendly, privately owned company, with a can-do attitude, applying professional values to our everyday operation. We offer a full range of scenic, charter and aerial work services from each of our bases here in the Illawarra. Our headquarters is located at Illawarra Regional Airport in Albion Park Rail and our secondary facility is at Wollongong Heliport near the Wollongong CBD. Only two hours drive south of Sydney, we are ideally located to provide helicopter services to the Illawarra and beyond.
Facilities
Our main operating base at Albion Park includes two modern hangar facilities; a large comfortably furnished passenger and spectator area overlooking the helipad; reception and administration facilities as well as public toilet and complementary tea and coffee services. From here, Touchdown Helicopters offers a comprehensive suite of helicopter based services including:
- Scenic flights
- Charter and Airwork
- Joyflights for your fund raiser
- Corporate Transfer
- A to B Transfer (including Sydney Airport transfers)
- Pilot Training – Accommodation Included
